a coworker and myself were actually talking about glenndale today, and we were told that back then they really werent too sure as to how tuberculosis affected people, so they tried things like excercise and the like. but that apparently made them worse, killing most of them. that place is pretty creepy....

I have been possessed by God knows what ever since I found my first site about Abandoned Sanitoriums/Sanitariums 2 days ago. I have spent literally 36-38 of the last 48 hours stuck in front of my PC looking at every single link I have found re: such. I have to say that this pic is at the top of my list for THE BEST pictures that I have seen. The reds are gorgeous, and this place looks so serene, so peacefull, but what evil and terrible mysteries and how many tortured souls or tormented ghosts do you think actually dwell within these walls, masked inside them, by an eerie sort of peace that seems to be portrayed. Whats lurking there, waiting just behind those blood red bricks, behind the unnatural calmness that is only seen from tthe outside? I am hopelessy addicted to this stuff now!!!!!!!!! Can anyone tell me where the next sign up is for another expedition? I'll go with anyone whos willing to allow me the chance to tag along!!!!! E-mail me at torisgirl11@msn.com

It's a dormitory. My mother worked at the hospital in the early eighties. I stayed in daycare. Great Photos.
