it does........its the lights hanging at weird angles too. It's great!
what was the railing for above the oven....hmm. The window is also really low, wonder if it was a serving hatch?
it's the composition, the angle and the combo of glass, metal and rust. So cool.........
...............and on the left of the stairs, is there a hole in the floor????
I imagine thee could have been paintings on the ceilings....I can't make out any details though. Gorgeous
Now THAT is just magical. The colours, the hall.........what an amazing aura this place has.
oh man..........that staircase! The wrought iron!!! Love it.
Lynne, is that you??? The legendary Lynne? lol It's great to see your name again. I asked about you on the forum.....How are you?
even in this decaying state, it still has a warm, inviting feel. It's a combo of those colours and the archies..organic!
I like the colour schemes that were prominent in these German asylums and hospitals. Here, they are warm, earthy hues. Very relaxing for the patients. I think the power of colour is hugely underestimated in interior design...........
it's almost regal..I think its the colours and colomn -like design. It's really beautiful
Black coffee, endless pile of english papers shoved to the side...(later, later!) YES! a new gallery AND a new look site. Thanks Motts, you are the best!!!!
it does look like a figure down there. maybe just our over-stimulated imaginations ;)
it's more organic and feels comfortable and non-threatening somehow.
It's proud to be a non-smoker!
that's my living room (then I wake up)
how beautiful those windows must have been!
Nick, shall we halve it? Fair fight an' all? sorry about the big clump of hair *opens fist and reveals it*
