.....a ray of hope in a dark world....
I really like the rounded corners that these old buildings have.
It's an pneumatic valve operator; The big, round part at the top (where the tubing is connected) has a diaphragm inside. Compressed air pressure from a controller pushes on either side of the diaphragm, which moves the stem (silver thing at the bottom of the pic) up & down, opening and closing a valve in the piping below it. Probably regulates steam, I'd say.
I love these industrial galleries, Motts!!
Looks like it may be part of the old boiler......
Thanks for the new gallery, Mr. Motts!
Thanks again, Motts.
.....a wheelchair ramp maybe?
Yes, thanks for the journey, Motts!
This picture draws the viewer in......................almost like you could step right into it! Amazing.
Another good wallpaper.
I don't think I've ever seen a door hinged like that.....
almost look like they could slide back & forth.
.....maybe it's my el-cheapo LCD monitor, but the door at the end of the hall is almost invisible until you look at it from different angles! Awesome!
Love the green tile.
That would make a terrific wallpaper shot!
Great perspective shot. The lighting in your pictures is awesome Motts! Thanks for the new galleries.
That's a cool light fixture, too.
