it's the exit sign. for some reason in wales they have their signs in cymru (with an english translation) even though most welsh people have no idea how to speak it!

I cannot believe how such a beautiful place could ever be allowed to be demolished. the buildings of today hold no such beauty.

I like this,even though it is a fail! something eerie yet good about it. perhaps the way the paint drips down like blood.

We have a place over here in the UK called Blackgang Chine,Isle of Wight and these photos remind me of it so much. It is not shut down yet,though a lot of it has fallen into the sea. The last time I was there(a very long time now) I remember seeing sections closed off to the public of rotting cavemen and dinosaurs,even of fairytale creatures.
Oh how I wish I could go back in time armed with a camera!

Amazing....I have driven past Hellingly many a time and never stopped to actually look at it from the outside.

Us Brits are too posh to vandalise the walls,so we use the chalk boards instead :p

Nobody wants to think of a child or tiny baby dying,so this is a very sobering picture.
