Looks kinda like equipement that might be found in a mad scientists lab.

Alot of the details are made of plaster including medallions and crown moulding . A very labor intensive way to go about getting the finished product. You dont get craftsmanship like this anymore.

This room seems to only a good cleaning and afresh coat of paint and it would be movie time.
