I think Mr. Motts has a full plate with the project in Detroit and a full time job. Then there is his job here. I think the man is spread pretty thin. I have to agree with wanderer it would be nice to meet Mr. Motts. ... Any one heard from "Ratchet"?

Great Idea, Wanderer. We all have Halcyon in common. Mr. Ware was quite the Architect. I think he would be pleased that his concept is still appreciated by so many. Of course Mr. Motts as well, his photography started this obsession. It would be great to meet everyone that Mott's photography has brought together.

I apologize the "kettering science center" pictures are in the Flicker link. Some of the roof is gone and snow in the building. The science center pics are on page 3 of the album if I remember correctly. Plenty of mold the floor tiles are coming up all the usual Halcyon "afflictions" Wanderer,, Stax good to see your posts.

Mr. Motts you anticipated my question. The previous photo made me wonder if this was a "property" sticker or "inspection" sticker. Thanks

Motts, Thank You for the info on "form follows function". Very clever architects.

Just wanted to let people know that the photobucket , Celeste linked sometime earlier, now has photos of the "Kettering Science Center". It is vandalized and in very poor repair. I have read that it was never used. Very sad to see.

Enjoying this gallery for the second time. The photo is just so clean and fresh, like it was taken long ago. I think that means far away from fast food joints and discount stores with their plastic bags.
