Creepy, love it!
Uhh, ghosts are absolutely real. Take it from someone who's been in the field for almost 3 years and been to many different locations, including an abandoned insane asylum down South. Pretty sure this place had them and still does. No matter what's torn down, the spirits will remain. With that being said, wonder how those people living in these "luxury" condos are holding out, lol
I love cupolas too. Something about them is just eerie to me. Wonder if they just threw these away too? Total waste of such beautiful architecture!
I just hope that beautiful fireplace is in safekeeping and not stolen by someone who will not appreciate it
These buildings were truly built with care and individuality back then. I hate these cookie cutter pieces of carp they have nowadays. They could have saved these buildings BUT they have to get them when they first close. 20 years later is too late. I live in AL and I know of a beautiful old 1800's mental institute that is vandalized to the point of being totally unrecognizable.
I sure wish I could investigate this place! Would take days to cover the whole place (like security would allow that, lol). I can dream anyway. All hospitals are haunted, not just this one.
So handsome you are Motts! If you ever need a female adventurer to accompany you when you are down South, I am first in line ;)
This place is huge!
That would really suck to fall from the top of these!
I also like the color on that door, or patina
I just dont get the concept of how having two sets of doors helped contain airborne diseases?
Love the black and red brickwork!
Looks like you'd either get clucked on the noggin by a falling brick or sliced by a falling sliver of glass! Nowhere safe to stand out there LOL
I would SO love to see these beautiful buildings! So regal looking
Creepy looking building!
