2/6/17 A couple of years ago, I viewed some of your other pictures of the old Main building and the other buildings. pictures of the lab, treatment rooms, the tub room, etc.... could you please repost them? I would love to share them with friends and coworkers. I worked at NSH right after graduating from hs, 1982-1993 and would love to share your photos along with stories about the hospital. I haven't talked about it in awhile. I would really appreciate it!!! Love your work!!!

its not fake , its used when a situation breaks out that gets out of control ... say if a member of staff were to be on there own and get attacked by a patient then this would alert other members of staff.

Never went into the outdoor pool much, it was ice cold. I stayed mostly in the indoor pool area as a kid. I so miss it.

My mom and dad rented this room as a kid, I recall being in that tub. I have pictures of it somewhere too.

Sorry I hope I am not being annoying, but the sheet wrap around the circular ring was like made of rubber. What I saw brought fascination and I do hope you are not offended by my inquiries.

Henry - if you are still around. Curious - how do they make it tight. I saw one at a museum on display and it had belts.

Those stir ups are pretty scarry looking compare to the regular ones for a gynecology exam. These they hold your legs apart with your knees up there. Scary!

Well if you have a bladder incontinent issue, you would know what this table is used for. It is really a urology procedure table. I had to be on one for several tests like the one wher they insert a scope into view the bladder and the urodynamics test. It is a surgery table to allow full exposure of the pelvic region for the doctor.

I first saw KPPC while traveling on the LIE around exit 56. I saw the outline of i93 as well as 22 I believe. Finally one day I decided to take a ride and headed north from exit 56. Since then, this building has captured my attention even though I have moved away. A friend of mine told he saw the building from a boat out in the sound, but didn't have a camera with him. Would anyone happen to have a picture of 93 taken from the water?
