This shot here really reminds me of a resturaunt in disney world. It is in tommorrow land and there is some robot alien things playing on the stage.

I highly doubt someone put it in there while it was alive. Also whitch droor is it in? If it is in the bottom then it probaly went there on its own, and if the top then someone probaly put it there.

Im glad that you came to dixmont. Ive been very interested in it for a long while now and never brave enough to go in for myself. These are the best pictures ive seen of Dixmont. Too bad they tore it down. I know that ill never shop at walmart for a long long time. (Fun fact: Dixmont was named after Dorthea Dix.)

i been to this place a lot of times some kids just drew that on the wall its obvious but it is really creepy

Funny that you guys mention the carousel... that was the reason i went to see BSS this weekend. My dad volunteered on the carousel in 1964 and 1965. He said that many of the children seemed really happy... he would ask them who their favorite Beatle was, and that would always get them talking. He also said that the Beatles was about the onlyt music that the man who ran the carousel would play.
when i sent there, as you know the carousel is gone. the building is still there on top of a small hill, but now used to something else. there is a fence around it and security cameras... so i didnt get too close.

heh I was there on Saturday (17th) and ran from the theatre like a coward after i heard a loud crashing sound just seconds after entering. I want to go back but probably not alone next time. how do you get into the subbasement???

do you thinks cops would let you go if you were just taking pictures? or would they still slap you with a trespassing. Night or Day?

yo i been there its pretty crazy and scary but my friends were too scared to go into certain places the security caught us and told us where to go and gave us a flashlight lol so yeah

I will say that the pictures is worth a thousand words. In ohio where i live a man was cleaniing out the attic of a house he recently bought and had never known the history (it was purchased during an esate auction) While cleaning we found a pine box that had a name brand casket companys name on it when we opened it there was a new casket inside. The shipping date was from 1982 and this was in 2003. After asking around we learned a lady lived ther in her eighties and had no family and died in a nursing home. He sold the casket for a prop. but was interesting.
