Thanks for the trip back to a gentler time Motts. I enjoyed it immensely!
What a pity to let this gorgeous building go like this. Maybe instead of faking sprucing it up, they should have done it for real.
Damn scrappers have no respect for anything.
Stunning. Times were so different when this palace was in its prime. It such a shame that it was neglected instead of treasured.
Brickwork seems to have held up.
The before and after is great.
Movie palace is the right word. Palace - the age of elegance. People dressed up to go to the movies...sure not like today.
This shot is gorgeous.
How did they get the projectors out of there? Those things are humongous! The Fanta cans are not a good substitute.
The blue ceilings! LOL. The place is massive.
I like the remnants of the blue ceilings.
These old theaters were magnificant!
You are right Eldokid because....

Duct tape is like the force...
It has a dark side...
It has a light side...
And it holds the universe together.
Apparently they needed to accommodate more than the usual 6 or 9 like most hospitals. Quite a different setup.
Things that make you go hmmmmm...don't see holes where pipes were removed either. Interesting...
