On the other hand, I've seen some Wonderful castles in England (and palaces in France) that are fixed up soundly enough for tours, so those are places I'd LOVE to have a wedding.

I don't know about ruins, but if...I could get married at Hotel Del Coronado or Grand Hotel Mackinac, I suppose I'd like that a lot...much easier than hoping everyone has sound footwear and no formals get dusty or torn! (My church will do. It's not quite a cathedral and the windows only have a little color, but lots of light, open space.)
