Do people forget that we are here to enjoy Opacity and the company of each other??? It bugs that people come here with the sole intention of shit stirring. Edwardo and Scion...be thankful you have such people looking out for your neighbourhoods. I for one can relate to becoming so attached to somewhere that it near on breaks your heart to see it go, and like Kadee said, Rad Ed isn't doing anything wrong in caring about Byberry or the way it is demolished! The guy IS legend because of the way he cares.

I am probably gonna get told off for this but hey!

Former Drug Addict, you say you cannot become addicted to coke and then in the next breath you say you have tried it alot and are not addicted! Thats a huge contradiction! If you are not in the slightest bit addicted, why keep "trying" it.

Also, to say there is nothing wrong with doing it: You should have been there to tell my fiance after he was nearly battered for no reason by wanker coke heads. They tried to rob his "gear"...even though he has never carried the stuff in his life. It makes people paranoid and deluded IMO.

I would love to be able to do up a place like this and live there...modern houses and buildings don't have any of the charm and allure that older buildings seem to literally ooze. You're not weird Amy, if you are me and Kadee are right there with ya!

Florida Jen have you ever read a book by Ceclila Ahern? Its fiction but involves a woman and her relationship with her nephews imaginary friend. Its a beautiful story....you should give it a read. I highly recommend it!

Connie, nobody has mentioned your uncle or his "passed". We are here to admire some awe-inspiring photography and accounts from those that have resided/have relatives that resided at these places are usually welcome, provided they are of relevence to the topic.

As has been said, we haven't mentioned your uncle at all and Navi is right....flaming will get you nowhere.

Contribute positively or don't bother at all.

I wouldn't touch coke with a 100 foot bargepole, I don't care how addictive it is!

I hate cokeheads!

Personally I think 1 or 2 lines a year is bad enough but each to their own.

Oh Laura....I love you! You said that so well.

And what is with a 63 year old grafitti "artist"?

I doubt anyone would be impressed if someone walked into their home, picked up their tv and walked out with it. If they said to you "Sorry mate, thought the house was abandoned..." would you accept it? No.

These buildings still belong to people. As do the contents.

And grafitti sucks. The devil makes work for idle hands.
