I went there today with a friend, and we both pulled up in my car, and i didnt really believe in ghosts, but i would love to go there and just look inside. But i used to be friends with the people that destroyed this place, and i hate them for doing it. Now no one can go there and see for themselfs. Im going back Saturday and i want to see if its really haunted like people say it is. But for now i don't really beileve in ghosts or any thing. Bye for now.

Aaron, if you read this, I'd love for you to tell him more places to go & shoot! I'm in the same state at Glen Dale (though further north) & would love to see some more local places! I'd love to go on a road trip and find some on my own& take pics, but unfortunately time & money will not allow it :-(

Back in high school (late 90's), a group of my friends went to explore this place at 3 in the morning. They parked far and told me they had to hike through some woods to avoid being caught by the police patrolling the area. They told me some crazy shit, like that there were bloody scratches on the walls, and that they found things like "help me'' written on the walls of some of the rooms. One good friend of mine told me there were a ton of old patient records left behind as well. Eventually they got bored and went outside to smoke some weed, but apparently they saw some lights (like the cherry of a cigarette, one guy said) and got scared and ran. I've never had the chance to step foot into or around "The Haunted Hospital", as they called it, but I wonder if anything they told me is true?

So much for patient confidentiality!

Haunted or not, this is a really cool place. Why can't they have stuff like this around my way?

Look how nature has taken this place over. It's beautiful to look at, but so sad to see such an awesome old building go to waste like this!
