The window was my room 29 years ago. The fence wasn't there then. It's been added after it closed in an attempt to keep out vandals. It was a sad place. I was there for 3 years. I left in 1986.

29 years ago I was one of the children at DeJarnette. Even though I was young I knew the place was haunted. The basement on the building on the left looking at the front used to be the morgue. I wouldn't go down there alone. The fourth floor in the building on the right was strictly off limits. Wonder why? Noises were always heard coming from up there. Make up your own mind.

This place was as bad as it seems my brother was placed here over 20 years ago he had some not so good experiences there inquiring minds should look up the history and you will also find the hauntings of dejarnette
