So, We keep our insane, infirm and elderly in horrible yellow-tiled institutions and our bullets in lovely castles on whimsical islands.

We know insanity is bad for us, why do we do it?

What did they expect to find inside these poor people?

You can try, but you can't wash away misery.

Have you noticed in all of this when nature takes over inside a building it is horrible and vile looking, outside it is beautiful and artistic - I wonder why??

Oh yes, the flowers help - now my crippling disability and depostion into this lovely place doesn't seem so bad.

When did that moment come where the last person walked out of the front door, turned, locked it, threw the key in the bushes and said, there, that's it - my last day of work, old building friend of mine, we will leave you alone and stop scratching at your insides?

Your pictures hold such stories, I can't get away from my desk tonight looking at them! Thank you for the mini vacation.
