They built a new building onto it and then the cost of keeping up the old building became to great for the facility to bear, so they ended up tearing it down. I never got to see the old building, but from the pictures I have seen, it didn't seem to be a Kirkbride building, although it did have the central administration building and then wings on both sides. Wish I was into this stuff back then...
