Such a shame this place has become what it has,even more so with vandals running around treating it like their own personal playground

And if youre ever in a need of some more abandoned parks,you can always try to get into Discovery Island in Disney

Jeez its such a shame that this park has become what it has. Even more so now that vandals have begun trashing it like its their own personal playground. I feel that if Katrina hadnt been as bad as it was,or that the levees held out,this place might still be open today....but its not,and its far from saveable too ):

Fun fact about this coaster: They filmed part of the latest Percy Jackson film here and actually sent a train out on the track to run for a shot in the picture

Did they take the cars or did the storm yank em away?

I feel as if i walked in there,I'd die of the stench

That ride looks leagues better than all the rest,so i wonder why they dont just salvage it like they did its cars?

The color on those cars has held up quite well

Its so depressing that this place got the brunt of the storm and never reopened

'Tis a shame we will never know what rooms this area held....and i really wouldnt trust being anywhere near that room,either from where the picture was taken or down in it

This wing mustve been abandoned for a very long time. The radiator has melted into the ground,something I saw on the bed previously.

Jeez,I dont even want to IMAGINE the smell....and theres enough mold there to kill a man if it could

What a beautiful mural,very calming and relxing looking

Poor toilet is down on its times...no one wants it. And jeez,they really mustve had a hard time removing the toilet next to it

That fallout shelter isnt very far down judging by the light coming through the ceiling...also,I doubt it woulda protected much anyways given how flimsy that roof looks
