Wow. What more can I add to the comments already made? I love this view! I have always been a forest kind of gal (DH and I used to go camping out in parks and campgrounds a LOT before our first child was born and then when I was pregnant with #3 we took the family camping in Canada, tents and all!) so this is a very serene and calming comforting picture. Just watch that first step...it's a DOOZY. :)
LOL I am here. Wow...second time I have been mentioned in a comment...*blush* stoooop now...you are making me turn all red. :)
It looks like "Baby Door" had a little too much to drink (wood finish maybe would be a door's poison?) and the other two are conspiring how to get out of there without it.
Those stairs with no handrail make me SOOO nervous. The steps look awful "shallow" too, as in they don't have much of a stepping surface to them. How strange. :)
I would think dust, pollen, and all of the above would make the windows look like that. It is just a combination of everything plus age to boot. The color makes me think of summer days as the sun is just going down and how the sun makes our bedroom (facing almost due West) that same exact shade of orange. :) Beautiful!
I would be trying to peek under or over the wall lol. Doesn't look like you could see much either way though. Those windows are a real piece of work! I love them. :)
I swear I can smell the greenery (and the mold) just sitting here in my chair far far away from this amazing place. This would be my paradise for sure...minus the destruction, decay, and mold and mildew of course. :)
You are so welcome bobo. :) That just came to my mind as I was looking at the pics of the theatre and I couldn't remember how the first part went, so I looked it up and I thought it was very apropo as they say. :)
Isn't it a shame that some of this place is so pristine looking and rooms like this are in utter chaos and decay? Sad.
What is behind door #4...
