I get a bit of a creepy chill from this hallway...haunting is an excellent word for LI Irish.

Even in the old photo it seems a bit unfinished as compared to the rest of the place. Might just be me.

Almost anything can be construed as a soap dispenser, i think it started with wierd light fixtures and evolved from there...however my personal favorite by far is the bright yellow "Panic Button"!

Wow, sometimes these pics dont really hit you until you see what they used to look like. It reminds me of the Great Barr Colony one...ya know with that awesome staircase, i had such trouble visualizing it until i saw the original pics. Same here.

That seems like a really bright green for a monastery...i would have thought they would go for something a little lighter.

You mentioned that this was used for a theatre at some point, maybe the management brought in the color.
