I see only one other person has commented on this type of pan being used for ear flushing. I definitely remember having one of these held up to my reclined head while cold gooey wax and peroxide dripped out of my ear. I had frequent ear problems as a kid so I never thought about them being used for any other purpose.

The walls are so odd...was the pink stuff some kind of insulation?

It appears to say "Sea" and then some other lettering that is blurred. What would be the purpose of writing on it - in cursive, no less?

Looks like the stage of a horrible 70's strip joint. I'm waiting for the curtain to reveal a girl in gold hot pants...

Could be an inside joke. Reminds me of the notes I'd write to a friend when we parted for the summer. Taken out of context, they'd be misunderstood.

That particular one's not scary, but it looks too glurgy with the butterflies and the smiling girl. It's like trying to force someone to be happy when they don't want to smile.

Beautiful shot.

How did they get the bodies high up on the third tier?

It looks like the old dorms on my college campus.

Great angle. I never would have thought of doing that.

I like funky and ornate architecture, and your photos often give me inspiration for my own work.

Elegance meets the street. I love it.

Sort of "Come with me, this is what awaits you..."

This would make a great cover for a book of your photographs. The different shades of the staircases and their elegant banisters are such a great contrast to the wretchedness of the foyer. And the open door just invites someone to take a journey with you into the ruins of a once-elegant era. This picture is like the perfect introduction to photographing abandoned places. :-)
