It's just that a lot of people (including myself at one point) come under the delusion that a bum occupying an abandoned asylum must be pretty mentally whacked and thus, homicidal. Obviously, I've come to my senses, but I still feel tense sometimes when urban exploring

at least it's a decent handstyle, although i personally could never tag in a f*ckin asylum

seriously, every time i go here, i think i'm going to wear my respirator the whole time...i'm god damn scared of this asbestos business now...

so...i'm just curious about the asbestos topic, and do you get screwed from being exposed once? and realistically, if one was careful walking around, how easy is to bring the asbestos up in the air?

Ah, and all the theater windows are now gutted. How sad, but it did give that part of the building a different vibe...in a good way

I don't believe the stripe is there any more. The same for the chairs. They have really come along with cleaning the place out, although there were still several abandoned pianos in the stairwells...

wonder if our pal dookie got narced simply because of that comment

the only reason i can think of that someone would be able to carry out such malicious acts is they've never seen the true nature of mental illness. if you have, and you can still go through with window smashing...damn....that's all i gotta say.

It's so interesting to see the differing perspectives on this subject. I'm down with graff out in the real world, but it just seems so disrespectful to the patients that were here in such shitty conditions to be painting the place up. I feel as though this doesn't just pertain to graff either; it's the parties and drinking too... I understand if it's part of the culture of Byberry, but it just seems so fucked up to be doing these things in a place where there were some tweaked out people suffering for so many years.
