I wonder if they still make those shiny bricks anymore.....? I can't decide if I like the blue or the yellow better. They're so.....institutional!
Anyhow, thanks again Mr. Motts. We appreciate all the effort & $$ it takes to do these expeditions!
Thanks for the interesting info, Steve!
Yes, thanks again, Mr. Motts. We appreciate the work (& risk) that goes into these galleries!
No! It's too beautiful to scrap!
It was made by the Buffalo Forge Co., and looks like a heavy-duty drill press or milling machine to me. Here's a picture of a small drill press made by the same company:

Thanks for the new set, Mr. Motts. Awesome, as usual!
You betcha!
Thanks again, Mr. Motts. Outstanding. I look SO forward to new galleries, and still spend hours in the other ones!
Laughing gas......COOL!
Spikes on the jar? I'm guessing you mean the facemask in the center of the picture; The green spikes are part of the replaceable rubber face seal; They push through the "clear" part of the mask to hold it in place.
BTW, I love the shift from green @ the top, to pink to blue.........
They didn't have soap dispensers - - soap came in BARS...remember?!?
Back when these places were still in operation, the mentally ill were, for the most part, forgotten.......written off by society. Although there were many cases of neglect & mistreatment, this sticker reminds us that some staff members actually cared for the patients.
Yeah, it was the same deal with "Session 9". I was disappointed.
There's nothing like Opacity! Thanks Mr. Motts for sharing your passion!
We appreciate it!
With a view like that, I wouldn't have to pretend to be nuts.......
These old asylums had the most interesting construction designs. Love the angled rooms & hallways. I wish they could begin using the artistry & craftsmanship again in modern buildings, but I guess it would cost a fortune.
EldoKid - I remember the spacepod/bubble dash that the '60-'62 Chryslers had...it was way cool!
