I've had this nightmare, too. Sometimes the toilets are missing and there is only a hole in the floor.

Apparently almost everything is disposable if you wait long enough.

I would imagine that having the walls painted two colors would mean that if it needed repainting, you only had to do half at a time.

Ugliest wing chair ever! And I'm an upholsterer, I've seen plenty! (sometimes i get the overwhelming feeling of wanting to "rescue" the furniture in the pictures).

I would like to know what was/is above the fireplace.

the lonely chair not so lonely, a nice hairdryer keeps it company.

It wouldn't need handles to be a stretcher, the fabric part is "stitched" to the frame, the whole frame would be handles.

p.s. I am new here and addicted to this site, the pics are fab and I am getting to know the people, you are fab too!

I wonder if there was water in the radiators that contributed to the deterioration of the floor.
