Ah, now the glass block makes sense to me. Yes, it was meant to allow light in, but, to keep things private during surgeries here.

Hmm, a red light bulb is still in the socket there, to make the Exit light up red, maybe?

It looks as if it could be shortened or lengthened to accommodate the size of a patient that needed that bed?

Look at the rust line, under the foot board of the bed. That bed has not moved in a very long time for that to happen like that.

I wonder how many patients were transported on that, during the time this place was open. And what was their condition too, as in, alive or had they expired? It is sad to think like that, but, it happened there.

Love the design of the metalwork there, very nice.
