Motts, I can imagine the air quality in this place must have been horrible!
That's some bad peeling, almost like the whole place was underwater for some time
I was thinking the same thing! Something (or someone) sure was strong to bend those bars like that
Eww, this place was neglected for quite awhile.

I noticed the toothbrush too, looks kind of big though.
Yet another reason not to go exploring places like this alone, lol.
Love the creepiness of this place! Would have loved to been in there with you guys!
Man, that's some serious rusting going on!
I love the natural colors in this photo
Creepy but fascinating! Been waiting for a new gallery and yay, a jail.
I really like the graveyard shots! Thanks Motts!

Hopefully this group has cleaned the older areas up--so disrespectful to the dead to let graves go like this. On to the next...
I noticed that too Mica. Must not have been back there too long. Hopefully it gets towed out and it's owner is found (at least give them some piece of mind knowing what happened to their car). What some people won't do
I hope they maintained and stabilized this beauty!
That looks huge! Yes, you don't see that type of craftsmanship with today's monuments. I can only imagine the cost of something like that.
I'd be afraid of being bitten by something trying to get through there! So sad and makes no sense that they won't maintain this area. It's probably a lot prettier than the section where people are still being buried.

So Motts, you were saying a group has taken over caring for this place now. Do you suppose all this foliage had been cut back and controlled so these gorgeous monuments can be seen?
I love wandering through them too, Claudia. Depending on where they are located they can really be so quiet! With a little wind blowing, just a perfect place to take a stroll. The fall is great too with all the leaves changing color and the cool breeze!
