Perhaps the artist was an inmate. My grandmother taught art at the NJ Womens Prison, and some of her most violent offenders painted some amazing art. Quite a bit of it was displayed in the facility.

A seclusion room with a window? That seems a little odd...and not as dark and foreboding as so many seclusion rooms seem to be.

i think it would be alsome to be put in a padded room and a straight jacket..that has been my dream since i was 11 years old 6th grade

I find it interesting that in almost all of the other rooms, and along the walls of the other wards, the colors are very neutral, but in the violent ward, the colors are very aggressive....could there be some sort of mental impact caused by this color?

Geez, that IS butt ugly. I think of the Catskills resorts as having these majestic towers and spires...this looks like my old elementary school!

I agree with Rose. It's like you're trapped in this horrible place only to look out at the beauty you willl never experience first-hand. Very sad.

me and my friends go in it al the time but we havent seen the mourge or the cafateria because that building is all boarded and cemented up and we havent found a way in there yet but in the regular building me and my friedns found glad bags and theres some christmas decorations still up haha!

I know wat u mean remember the one they did in an old hospital on sum island abroard sumwhere that was nothing compaired to these piks!!!
