this reminds me of "feng shui", a asian strategy to bring harmony to a place. i wonder that thomas kirkbride did know about the way of feng shui when he created the kirkbride-style but maybe intuition he knew about the harmony-effect of round corners. so maybe he already had a sense of feng shui. : )
