Any chance these were hydrotherapy tubs? Those would have required observation by a caregiver, but a person in a hydro tub is covered with canvas sheeting.

I Have just seen the movie session 9 and reconised it from this picture! Some times a photo stays with you, and this one did. I love your work! Iconic and hunting.

Neal Choudhary is that you? Maria & Raj's brother right? Anyway if its you, you'll remember me, Charlotte Long, Eileen'n daughter or Dr. Blazsiks daughter. I still get Xmas cards from Maria. I guess we did have some fun playing in the circle. It was literally a crazy place to grow up, but I guess it could have been worse. My email is bobcharlotte@optonline.net

Yes, I spent my whole childhood on the grounds of EDGEWOOD and Pilgrim. It is indeed in Brentwood, NY

Beautiful Photos, the doctors did pay rent when they lived in the houses.

That was a beautiful house but a little bit scary to live in, I lived in it until 1983, when my mom retired as a psychiatrist from Pilgrim. People should realize it borders probably the worst drug and crime areas of Brentwood. It did have some nice moldings & a crazy basement that supposedly had tunnels that led to the patients wards...like I said it was a bit scary & lonely growing up there as a little girl.

I love looking back on pictures and thinking what could have been going on many years ago, how the people felt etc
