I thought they were rolled up old mattresses. I recall from Marcy State that all the fallout supplies were clearly labeled as such, drinking water, etc..
That framed picture is ugly. Also I don't remember electrical outlets in my psych hospital room... we could like, electrocute ourselves on them or something... We weren't allowed things that had to be plugged in. They went into lockers or were kept with the nurses at their stations. I'd totally rip that ugly picture off the wall.
EEEWWW! (buries face in hands). (Please pre-excuse a tiny bit of "yelling"..It just h a s to be done this time...;-0.)...WHY WHY WHY are clowns always found in these places (other than after-the-fact grafitti), having been put there by some misguided soul to "make it a little nicer"???? Clowns ARE NOT, and have NEVER been, FUNNY! They are not "CUTE", they are not "CHEERFUL", and they most certainly don't "BRIGHTEN" a room..... ANYWHERE!!!!!! (takes a breath). Do a n y of you, or anyone you've ever MET (who wasn't weird ;-)), actually think clowns are "adorable", "whimsical", or otherwise pleasant? Clowns, in any form, should be banned from the planet...(OK, don't worry, I'm already reaching for a "chill pill"....). Sorry, but I simply don't see what painting these hideous creatures on ANYthing does to "improve" anything....Ok, I'm going away now...
Look closely, and you can see the reflection of someone's grey or blue eye in the wiped-out area just to the right of, and slightly above, the very center. Lips, too, lower down (nice touch, Motts ;-)). Great title, too, BTW.
Filthy! (Looks possible (PROBable?) that the stains could have happened BEFORE the building was abandoned..not a pretty thought). If that was the case, I hope these were just being stored in here waiting to be hauled to the dump.....wouldn't want to think of anyone actually sleeping on that ;-0!
