Amazing shot, I really love the angle and the composition. Perfect time of your as well, the dead grass gives the image just what it needs.

Seems odd because they are at first asking for rescue, then offering to rescue another. You free me, and I will free you. If someone could free them, why would they need to return the favor.. If you follow my meaning. Open the door and everyone goes free. No need to fetch the police.
Wow the trees and the sky in the background greatly add to this picture. Very nice shot Motts.
Wow--now that is a class shot Motts!
That's actually very comfy looking!
That's creepy looking--it reminds me of stories about people trying to claw their way out of enclosed spaces.

Although in this case I'll agree with the above and say this looks like it was caused by a cup or something. As blueskyes said, it seems like someone *really* wanted to get out of that room.
For some strange reason when I saw the paint peeling off the ceiling I thought of caves and bats, lol I think I've had too much caffeine this morning! :~)
I love the shadows made by the doors here, a very nice effect.
if there was a skeletal hand coming out of the ground in front of this headstone that would be awesome.... hehehe...
very powerful photo... very sad as well....

these people's minds may have disintegrated but they're still human... they at least deserve a name regardless of law or policies... dehumanization just isnt cool...
it is funny how there are still people who get hired to clean these places... i assume that it is in case someone wants to buy it... i have a friend that cleans an abandoned factory up here in Montreal... he gets paid well but he doesn't know why he does it??? or how his employer is connected to the infrastructure... weird shit...
