I will re-iterate the statement below the photo; there was a memorial that listed each patient's name next to their number...

how sad to go through life and end up in a grave yard as a number, it is to bad no one will remember their names

That stone looks extremely weathered. was there water nearby?

Thats really interesting. I've only seen small plaques made of metal near tombstones but never a metal tombstone itself, very cool.

Being this place looks very old my guess is that if it were an old christian cemetary the number 666 would not be used for door numbers or patient numbers and therefore not grave markers. this is most likely the case since most hospitals i've been to, new and old, did not use the triple 6 digit for anything. As for the bones i'm guessing eithrt a fox or coyote killed a young dear somewhere and scavenger dragged a piece of it elswhere to eat what was left for safety in case the original killer comes back.
Awsome shot!! Wallpaper?
Maybe a fellow explorer left it just so people like us could speculate as to the meaning of the note?? Who knows maybe they are out there trolling the web to see if anyone found it and wondering about it. They are probably sitting at their computer(s) having a good laugh. HaHa see what we did...well its just a stray thought I am having here.
