Joseph- weird, cool story. The popcorn in the movie, and the cotton candy people casings! You hear me? My man dressed up as a clown and the 15 kids at a Bday party tore his costume apart like ravenous little heathens. He was all, "Wait a minute, kids aren't supposed to be mean to clowns!" Anyhoo, Take it easy in Germany.
RacheyBachey. I saw the movie "Attack of the Killer Clowns from Outer Space" when it first came out at the theaters. I thought that it was amazing that everything that a clown uses as a prop in the circus to make people laugh on Planet Earth was changed into something EVIL and SINISTER for the Killer Clowns from outer space. Even the "Popcorn" and "Shadow Puppets" would devour people whole.
One time when I was traveling by train thru Germany. (I cannot really remember where I was going or where I was coming from. I have traveled to several cities in Germany by train. I think that it was when I was going from Mannheim to Hamburg but I just cannot really remember. This was sometime in early 2007.) Well anyway, the train made a stop and a man and a woman got on the train and they sat down across from where I was sitting. They were dressed up as clowns. From the moment that I saw them I suddenly became some - what uncomfortable. I was not scared or anything like that. I was just uncomfortable. I cannot explain it either. These two people were talking to eachother at first during the train ride. I could tell that the man was not very happy. The woman was doing most of the talking. And then all of sudden these two people got into an arguement. They kept their tempers under control because of the fact that they were on a public train. Their arguement lasted for only a couple of minutes though. And after that they were silent for about 5 minutes or so. And then the woman started to talk. And then the man talked. After that they started to make little clown skits. For the next 30 minutes or so they spoke back and forth and continued to create little clown skits. There are three things that I remember very clearly. (1) Their face makeup was crude and cheap looking. (2) Their clown clothes were very drab in color. Their was nothing bright or festive at all about their clown clothes. This just struck me as odd. (3) This is strange but it seemed that no one else on the train even seemed to noticed that their was a man and a woman dresses as clowns. After about 40 minutes the train made a stop and these two people got off the train. I do not know why but felt better after they had left the train but I did.

Hey Chris:
That 5yr old boy you have records from is 50 yrs old now. Maybe you could try to find the person and give them to him. It doesn't sit right with me for him to have been that young, an adult now, and you sharing his personal information while he's possibly running around somewhere minding his own business.
I know you didn't share it here, just a possible solution for you both.
Has anyone seen 'Attack of the Killer Clowns from Outer Space'? I saw it first time when I was bout 10, funny, scary! Just last night I watched a new horror flick, this chick is in an abandoned building from her past and picks up a clown doll laying on the floor. Wait-no, maybe it was just a russian doll. But it was a doll in an abandoned building any way...
Hey Motts, what is that round looking thing up in the left hand corner with the wire hanging underneath it? It kinda looks like a theres a clock on it or something. Or was it some kind of fire alarm? Btw, long time lurker/reader, first time post!
This particular machine is an Alternating Current generator. There is no commutator as a DC machine would have. Also, someone has stolen all the copper windings out of it. Looks like an illustration out of a " breakdown of civilization " story !
It is definitely a steam engine of the Corliss type. The steam supply pipe is silver painted and comes off the top of the main steam header. If it were an air compressor, there would be an air inlet pipe, air filter, and reed-type valves on the top of the cylinder. The Corliss patent design is unmistakeable to some one who has worked with it. There are two steam admission valves and two steam exhaust valves. The covers of the valves are visible as round flanges in each of the four corners of the cylinder housing, the square-ish
box at the right side of the photo.
