WHAT??? WHAT'D YOU SAY???

EHHH????

Heheee...yeah. Must've been deafening!!

Again, makes me think of a huuuuge watch. :)

Whoa...looks like a Giant's pocketwatch!!!

I can't imagine getting an arm caught in there...it would be say hello to ONE-ARM...yikes. :(

~LG
You need to get out more--you look a little pale lol. Heheee. (That is a jab at how you are always exploring places)...

Holy crow this is a big piece of machinery...You really can't tell how big things are until you put them in perspective. :)

Nice one Motts!!

YES! That is how our city looks in spots...very barren...and now they are cutting down trees in other places to make room for ????? (still haven't seen anything built on ANY of these sites) and it just takes from the natural beauty that we have. I live in the North side of the city (specifically Green Ridge) which is a big place and it is very nice with upper-income housing and middle class housing, and lots of trees and parks and schools. It is really pretty but all the strip mining, deep mining, and the other things that have gone on here, the landscape isn't the same. :(

~LG
Whoo that is a lot of machinery...I, too, would feel very small next to it. :)

@MamaToFiveInPA, I have no clue, but did you notice the 2 small hook-like things at the bottom of the 14? Did something hang off of this?? Interesting!

Motts any clues? Was there a 1-13 throughout the place??
@MamaToFiveInPA and @eldokid

I just want you guys to know that you are part of the reason I have become so addicted to this site! (other than the fact that Motts is a bada** at picture taking) I have been through EVERY LAST GALLERY and have read EVERY LAST COMMENT since I was told about this site 4 years ago.
I love it!
@MamaToFiveInPA: SUPERB! I could seriously see motts doing that! And yes, I did giggle some more! haha

This would make for an intense theme park ride.
MAMA! STOP pressing buttons and sticking your fingers in where they don't belong (see prior comment somewhere!) - - it is tempting though, isn't it? Like turning knobs and flicking switches!
We had a sink like this iin high school, it was pretty cool actually.
I'd wear 'em!
I was born in '58, a few years from this date, but let me say that these papers are in a lot better shape than I am! I love finding old paperwork in locations better than machinery or other stuff. I think the documents can reveal so much of what went on when the company was in business.
These teeth need to see a dentist!
Rosie the Riveter went to town on this machine!!
