Max i dont think they are refering to any specific part of the movie i think they are just referencing it for its creepy old asylum setting and Death Tunnel was much better considering it was based on an actual place which was Waverly Hills Sanatorium in Louisville,Kentucky

If only there were more efforts into the perservation of these buildings as opposed to simply letting them rot away slowly... but, alas, then there would be no awesome ventures into abandoned state hospitals for those willing to explore.
