Wow. I wasn't expecting that at all. The building seemed pretty solid then "bam" Total destruction. Fascinating.

This is a great example of why abandoned buildings are so beautiful. Look at that texture. People go to great lengths to reproduce this look. Nature does it without a second thought. You gotta respect that.

I've never seen HVAC ducts like this. Whoever designed these is an engineering genius. Obviously custom made.

Not everyday you see shelving made of 2 x 6 lumber. Those aren't going to break.

I'm about 5 years late to the party but I agree with everyone. This is spectacular. I don't believe it's fire damage because the rest of the room has no staining or damage.

I often seem to find photos or even whole galleries I had somehow missed cruising this site. This is a great shot & Lynne's photographic contribution is hilarious. Good stuff.

Isn't that ironic--once they guarded the place so noone would get OUT...

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE the lonely chair shots!!!!!!

This one makes me sad. I want to just HUG that chair!
Jeezers...it reminds me of a bathroom in an elementary school...in fact, it looks a little like the bathrooms in the school our sons (8 and 6) go to now,., but different colors! I should get a pic of the bathroom in their school! If you want to see BRIGHT colors...sheesh!
Grrrr...now you guys got me thinking about Glory Holes...

Can you imagine sticking ANYTHING into that hole now--even a FINGER...you would get lead poisoning from that paint...nevermind on...well....those more sensitive parts...

WTF? I WAS being so good...now you've gone and put my mind in the gutter...well...nevermind. I guess it was already there, just in denial about it.

HAHAHAH good pic Motts!
well, obv. it's a damn blue room!!!!!!!!!
