Thanks for the great photo's of this device Mr. Mott's. I think what makes it really scary is it's being housed in a nice little portable Samsonite carry case. It does speak to overuse of something that was not fully understood at the time.

The plastic seats look like they were replaced on the bench frames at some point in time. Doubt they were the correct replacements, looking at all the exposed sharp and pointed edges.
