The ECT unit used on me was much older and had controls that could be dialed up and down and did not have time limiters on them. The electrodes had handles on them. If you see how the wires come out back of these it was a bent metal tube that came into a handle and the wires came out of the back of the handle.

They appear to be a lot bigger than they are at first.
The first time I scrolled through they looked to be standing on the floor and maybe 5 feet tall. Now I see they are on the table and as you say an eye device so they have to be small enough for a face to be put up to them.
