@F.H.-Yes, I agree with you-it is a shame that they don't rehab these old, beautiful, historical buildings. Builders and architects just don't make "castle-like" buildings any more. There's certainly no creativity these days in building large, plain, square-looking structures with no pizazz! Formerly, the old Kirkbride buildings held such a hauntingly, beautiful mystique-why not preserve them? I guess it all comes down to money, these days... rehabing and creating castle-like structures cost too much... but where is the beauty?
