Everybody on the old cell block was doing the Jailhouse Rock.
Interesting shot. I like the way the trees and climbing vines frame the enterance.
I live right near Springfield, this place is very very heavily watched by private security companies. There are shootings here everyday none the less. Its a very dangerous place and i would not recommend exploring here.

in 1930's & 40's awide swath of land from jail to street was all a lush veggy garden where prisoners raised fresh produce for the jails useage every year.

My grandfather was one of the very first motorcycle cops in Springfield, back when Indian's were the Harelys of the day. He put a lot of people in York Street. I also know a person who had a brief stint here in the late 80's. Awesome work!
