God... I miss that place, BEST CLAM CAKES in the world... What a shame, the last owners of Rocky Point should be locked away in one of these abandoned asylums on this site...

I've changed the title to the Arcade Building, sorry for the mislabel.

My family used to own and operate the park. It has been years now and my parents are long gone, but the pictures bring back many memories.i also still have alot of smaller items from the park that i look at from time to time when i am feeling sentimental. thanks for the pictures.
It is very sad, this was one of the original amusement parks in America. They just let it go... I also have that park layout burned in my brain too... Some of my best childhood memories are there...
That makes two of us Joe.

WE WANT OUR ROCKY POINT BACK!
Gondola? WTH is a gondola? Last time I looked this ride was called The Sky Linner. I loved looking around the park from this ride. Yeah, it was the most boring ride in the park. But I never heard of the story about the maintenace guy been cut in half at the far end. Now I understand why I used to feel so erie around that turnaround.
Hey! Wait a minute. I worked at this park. I know it inside and out. This is NOT the old bumber car stand. This was the old arcade stand. This is where all the pinball and video games were played in. How many others are misslabled?

The Corkscrew coast was purchased by SixFlags Enchanted village in Washington State and is operating under the name "Wild Thing".

The Cyclone Roller Coaster is now operating on Prince Edward Island in Canada at Sandspit Cavendish Beach.

The Freefall was renamed to Mr. Hydes Nasty Fall and is now located in Ohio (Cedar point perhaps...).

I still have my bumper sticker and mug from here.

Yeah this room had both black lights and strobe lights.

Totally screwed with your eyes

You use to come into this room and you would hear rain sound effects and screams and moans and yelling.

You could see hands coming up like they were rising from the graves and the bodies would pop up with a rush of cool air. Felt good in the summertime

I remember in this room there was a guy on a table and people around him and there was a saw that was going in between his legs and you could hear screaming

ahhhh happy childhood memories

All of the cars had paintings of famous horror movies.

I always remembered that the wolfman car was the one my friend threw up in.

The light fixture on the side of the castle was a strobe light so it looked like lightning when you were in the car

I use to love this ride and before the Corkscrew came to the park, this had the most people lined up for it.

I remember getting into the cart that had black leather seats and most of the time you sat in someone's sweat from the last person who rode it (ewwwwwwwwwwwww) and it was soooo cheesy but it was alot of fun
