Worcester State Hospital strongly resembled Danvers State Hospital. Same type of architecture and sprawling wings on both sides. The fire destroyed most of the wings.
They bricked up what was left. Hopefully this building (the Clock Tower as it is known) and the remaining buildings will be saved when the new hospital is built on the grounds.

you are correct it is used for respitory meassurements. its now caled a peak flow meter easly google it. most asthmatics use one every day and once every three months they have a lung capacity check

I've been in this building. As Mr. Motts stated that there were mazes in there. Firefighters train in there for the horrible occasions that they need to escape from the fire or die, "Save ourselves" I still get the chills from there and I could feel the darkness all around me when I was there.
