Heading up for one of my last looks pretty soon. I'm sad that we are loosing more of Worcester History, but I have to say that I am pleased that we are getting a new hospital in it's place.

Not haunted, but close to death, for demolition is to begin within the coming weeks.

I dont think being hosed down sounds that horrible. I live in India and bathe myself with cold water from a bucket. Trust me, it wouldnt take much coaxing to have me stand in one of those stalls for a nice hot hosedown. anytime. I WOULD prefer more privacy.... but like others have mentioned... my high school shower-room... and the typical YWCA shower room doesnt have much more privacy than this.

The clock tower was going to be a filming location for a Paramount movie produced by Martin Sorcese staring Leo DeCaprio. Unfortunately the timing is off since the new hospital is going to start construction and the state wont allow filming which will take about 6 weeks. Worcester lost this wonderful chance and the clock tower would have been immortalized.

To me...it is odd, and I can't explain why. Maybe it's because I expect the hands to be broken off/torn off at least on one of the sides. It's very..."intact" for something so old.

I think this was the high point of thier life and everything went down from there.

Would it somehow be better if each face showed a different time?
There are four faces - only one clock...

I go up to this hospital quite a bit. I wander around and take pictures. The odd thing is...the clock tower has 4 sides....all 4 sides show the same time. I'm sure it was all mechanically tied together, but, it still struck me as odd. 9:50.
