great photo. there are so many shots (this one included) that just look like the "inhabitants" have just Poof! disappeared and anything they were doing or holding has just dropped to the floor, very creepy but very beautiful

The "facilities" at military bootcamps are just like this only there are ten toilets on each side of a wall. Everyone goes at the same time and eventually it is no different than going any other time, kind of. It sure was good to get home where there are doors!!!

I'm pretty sure it was a kitchen.

Workshop is my guess. The overhead wiring was less expensive, and made it easier for the foreman to see that no one left a soldering iron plugged in at the end of the day.

Not sure Sean. At first, I thought <g> LIGHT fixtures.. But, there seem to be flourescent lights built into the ceiling. I can see one cover open, in the upper right corner. Looking closer, there seem to be plugs at the end of each wire. I wonder if there were cubicles set up in here at one time, and those were electrical hookups for desks...almost like an impromptu office...Maybe a shop of some kind...? Motts, do you know what this room was?

It looks as if there is someone in the top right window.

What are all the things hanging from the ceiling?
When I moved into a new house(though it was old it was new to me) I would be sleeping and i would wake to hear a faint scratching and the left foot of my bed. The odd part was that I had just moved in and my bed was in the middle of my room. So out of cuirousity I would chec what it was once I was awake it would stop after going for about 30secs and noticed i was awake. Then shortly after ticking would stop my old old TV would turn on every time 5 channels about what I turned it off at. I would turn it off and then TRY to get back to sleep. and sometimes I would triumph. Other times I would a scrathing out my room door(it lead to outside) and i would check and it would be gone and nothing there. I have moved out of that house and am fine now but i lived with that for about 6 years. I am now 15.
