Loving that light fixture!
MY GAWD THAT'S THE SAME STRUCTURE OF THE MILK REFRIGERATION THAT WAS IN MY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL.

Sorry about the caps, this really brought me to another time .. o_0
Reminds me of the Warroom from Dr. Strangelove
I thought it was a super secure gate over a stairway.
I think that fridge would look great in my kitchen......
Medically approved tanning beds? LOL
Oh my. Wonderful shot! I find myself wondering how much this hallway has decayed since this shot was taken....
I really like that light fixture.

And why do curtains in abandoned buildings hold up so well?

I contracted polio in 1953, at the age of 13. I spent about six months in an iron lung. It doesn't hurt. It is a very gentle form of artificial respiration. You are not claustrophobic, because your head sticks out the end. And, most important, it keeps a person alive. Thank God for the iron lung, and thank God we now have a polio vaccine. But a vaccine only works if people use it. Get your children vaccinated! For more information on polio and the iron lung, go to www.polioassociation.org

Pulmonary function tests were and are used to test the capacity of a patients lungs. they are also used for after chemo therapy because some medicines can cause problems with the lungs.
