did you only photograph the lobby? No rooms?
smoked more spliffs than I'd care to remember(if I could) in that little spot-light room. Saw more dodgy gigs and listened to some awful music. Thanks for the photos. I see the staff rooms haven't changed much in 20 years

Looks like someone bled to death there.

ice-o-materiffic!! What a funny little product. It's fun to grind ice into mostly water and just a little drop of ice. We got it at a yard sale. It's funny, but we love old metal products from the USA!
pretty disco LOL

Maybe the door would lock when it shut and someone didn't want to get locked in/out while they were alone.
Kind of a narrow hallway for a hotel, isn't it?
Hello mountain memories... "The Pines" a great hotel. I was probably the first mobile personal appearance disc jockey to play the Catskills. I was brought in to play for a catholic family weekend event. Ernie or Bernie Reinleib (spelling) had me play in the main room, with the large stage, and I got people up doing line dances. The best part of the visits to work the mountain hotels was the food, and the golf. Bill

Yeah, the OWNER probably burned it, along with the other two buildings that burned very recently.
