The Grudge 17.5
This must be where the Arbor Day Massacre took place!
Even the grout is clean!
Play with us... Forever...
If I hadn't seen the lobby, I woulkd swear that building is being used. It's like Sunday morning. No one's home...
IT"S THE LABREA CARPETS!!!
(Sorry Gary Larson...)
They started the "Green" trend. Just look at the oxygen producing carpet

I don't understand why so much gets left behind. It's like they evacuated in an emergency and just never came back.

It's weird!

my grandfather owned Sunny Croft ranch ...the stories and pictures of the catskills at that time seem so ancient it's such a shame. My parents also owned the Brunswick Inn, a restaurant that was right next to Sunnycroft thats still there to this day...does anyone remember anything about it?

I remember that view. We followed Bill Monroe on that stage in 1988. It really did look grand back then, in a way only possible in the Catskills. Our mandolin player backstage was impressed that Shecky Greene probably used the same mirror he did to get ready.

Played a winter bluegrass festival there in 1988 - one of the promoter's big selling points was "you never have to go outside". These hallways took care of that.

The only thing left of this building is the fire escape seen in the photo and a pile of rubble.

This Place reminds me of a resort in Canada called Fern, only Fern is still open even with very gross pastel colours on the walls! I Think it opened in 1890, or thats what the people who work there and own it say! Its acually really nice inside, A lot better then The Pines and any Holliday Inn. It has like 3 Out door pools and an Indoor pool, has really good food and in the winter in has DOGSLEDING!!!!! : ) PS: It's near the town of Orillia
