What an impressive piece of work! Are you standing on the pyramid 'o' tables for this shot?

What a great room! It is like a fairy tale ballroom. I wonder if there was a "High Hills Gate"? Shreaded papers are always a bit suspicious. Think "fund raising dinners".

In reference to the power plant, much like the coal mines and such some of the workers probably got filthy enough to need to bath before going home.

What a wonderful "face" this building has! The jutting out object is the nose, then the moustache below, the door way the mouth, and the laughing eyes above.

This photo almost has a jolly feeling.

This room is round not "on the square" as a masonic room needs to be. And what about the Star of David in the Dome window itself?

The room was used as the dining room in the facility. And an interesting note about the Oculus - It was taken from the building McKinley was shot in. So it has even more historic value than it would even seem. People had better not damage it...

It's perspective that makes it look that way, markymark. See how the lines diverge as they come toward the camera? It's pretty clear that there were only meant to be 4 chandeliers here.

i agree with chay . i also think it may have plexiglass to protect it . because you just never know.

i still feel ther should be another chandolier . its still beautiful .

picture it cleaned up . fresh paint ,new garden plantings some wicker. maybe a porch swing . could be a nice vacation spot .

my uncle is a mason, he says, that most mason buliders, were (and are weird) and do crazy little mason-traditions in all they bulid. Its almost a respect thing. He said he dates the buliding to be made about the early 1930's

Maybe someone had a "not so good" camera and had to stack up the tables in order to get a better close up picture of the oculus.
