I saw this place for the very first time this weekend, it made me feel really bad because I know what all the people must have went through that were behind those walls. No matter where I was in Buffalo that night, if I looked up I could see the towers lit up in the sky.... very scary

The ceiling looks like it's going to burst!

Everyone talks about the outsanding architecture of this asylum. It is agreed apon that it is beautiful and eerily creepy. The abuses that took place behind the walls of this structure, in the curvatures and hidden areas during the 1950s to patients (boys and girls) was cruel and inhumane. Some of the staff should have been committed and housed in the area for the most violent. I could just imagine what it mus have been prior to the 1950s. SCARY!
