Did they sneak down in the tunnels paint? Clandestine? Secret? What a thought. Like grafitti. And then to paint this clown; the most terrible forbidden thing.
Was there an elevator?
Ahhh hahaha yes Lamps! Fun Every Day! :-)
Is the door ajar???
WHO would make this mess and why????
Someone somewhere is Not doing their job, and taking decisions & responsibility for their area/work, that´s for sure. Well that´s how we people are! Hmmm yes.
:-) Your photos: crystallized , touching , sympathetic and sincere. Thank you so very much! Yer da bestest, Mr. M.
Ah The Lamp! The light in this photo is so strange to me, am not even sure if it is B/W or not! Hues, shade and tints! That open window is good and the tilt of the lampshade, too. Really like this! Best wishes Mr.M.

@ Urban - not to threadjack but you can play Silent Hill even if your PS1 broke like mine did; grab a program called Epsxe. It emulates a PS1 and can play SH start to finish without a single problem, I've done it.

eldokid@aol.com, I'm sorry that happened to you and your father. I work in nursing facilities and it is a shame. They are so costly, but the care is crappy.
If you brush those paint chips off, you could climb right in and take a nap. To the person that mentioned the lack of privacy and small night stand with a personal photo on it, that's how it was when my father went to a nursing home. We all begged him to come live with one of us as we all had room, but he didn't want to be a "burden" to anyone. Well, he went to one of "those places" and he died six weeks later. To this day, I believe it was the home that did it. He was at the mercy of anyone who felt like taking any of his personal belongings. We brought a lot of items he held dear to him, and when we went to visit a few days later, things were missing. Of course the staff all denied it, but I know they stole from him and probably all the patients there. One time I went to visit after work and walked in his room only to find my father sitting in a wheelchair with his pants soaked because he had an accident.. I asked how long he had been sitting in urine, he said since lunch time, and here it was early evening. I am certain that if my dad had come to live with one of us kids, he would have lived a lot longer than he did. Once put in that home, he just kind of gave up, probably thinking "if they don't care about me why should I?"
Look at that industrial sized soap dispenser on the back wall, cool!
Another perfect perspective shot! Looks really creepy. Places to hang coats...or naughty patients...there is also a box on the floor what looks to be either broken glass or papers. Surely it would be just blank unused moldy paper or would it be more documents? If I were down there I would (very carefully, might have spiders in it) look in it to see what was in it.
Holy Sweet Loving Hannah!!! This one is really good. Its surreal. Looks like it was painted and not necessarily shot. Good God that looks awesome! Almost tells a story of some sort. Wow.

This time, the B&W makes it work wonders in this context. I don't think color would do it justice. Good job Motts!
Now this shot is making me want to play Silent Hill... Very well done. Love this shot as well. Serene is a good word for it. Like someone in spirit is sitting there...looking...waiting to finally cross over...waiting... Really well done indeed...
I just love the perspective in this shot! Motts, dude, these perspective type shots are my faves of your overall work. You just nail it down every single time. Unless purposely done, there's no angles to make it distorted or seem off in a way. Keep it up man!
