An interesting & sad lonely chair pic Motts....just be careful in walking through these old buildings (esp with no lights) that lone chair right in the door way could be a hazard really. Not that I've ever been or done that (cause I'm too scared to do any of that period) I leave that to people like you Motts.....thanks for letting me be able to see this stuff too!! Your pictures are awesome!!
I have several Picker x-ray machines that I would like to know if anyone collects. They are definitely antique machines. Is there anyone interested in purchasing them or know of a museum or other who would be interested in such machines. They were used in a hospital in Chile a long time ago. Please contact me via email if you have any suggestions on what to do with these machines.

Yeah safety does look like an issue though. Sadly I could still see someone hurting themselves if they fell out the other side. Ifs very scary really. I can understand why its high but still.....the walls do look kinda strange too. But it is an old building thats been sitting empty for a very long time now......
this is one of scariest places ive ever seen! i seen some paranormal documentary on pennhurst...omg you couldnt pay me to go into those tunnels. there was an abandoned rolling hospital bed with blood all over it. it was rusted and you can tell its atleast 40 years old. plus they cremated and burried people there.

all the jits that spray paint and litter there are rediculous....seriously yall? you can go hangout and smoke crack somewhere else?

Good Lord, this is not a ghost. Hearing everyone make such stupid comments on all these pictures like "OOooh must me a ghost!" gets really annoying after a while. This isn't a picture of a ghost. I'd really think you'd have to be about three years old to think everything on here is. It's a person.

Imagine how small and lonely a child felt here. The helpless feeling of being left here so scared. Just arriving here and seeing the massive structure must have totally terrified a child not knowing what was happening to them.

strange that as i looked over staff that previously worked at pennhurst that some have transfered to another state to a similiar hospital, but yet these goings on were known to staff of neglect etc, people should ask questions especially if american, your country,

Dear starduster can you give any info in relation to your time at pennhurst As you said you had good times and memories but did you feel anything untoward was going on while you worked there or did staff ever express any fears for patients etc ,, Did staff speak up, from an interested party from across the seas,,... always watching..

I loved typing in HS...I took 2 1/2 yrs of it. I think it helped me with computers....at least for the keyboard aspect of it. Unlike the finger people, as I call them, that don't know how to type on a keyboard.....so I think its helpful. I still use a typewriter at work but those days are numbered I guess.....makes me sad......I'll always have loved a typewriter.....but progress must march on......than theres the saying....the more things change the more they stay the same.......oh well.....thanks for the pictures Motts......
